About urbaculture

In 2014, Michael Landis met Matt Van Diepen, who has a successful urban gardening business in Venice, California. Matt’s enthusiasm for bringing food into the city infected Michael, whose gardening skills were awful. He couldn’t grow a cactus if his life depended on it. But he knew there needed to be a way to bring food diversity to anyone who wanted it.

Urbaculture grew from the idea that everyone who wants to grow their own food should be able to. Instead of going completely on your own at your local hardware store and searching through thousands of Internet articles or clues, or searching for the right gardener who fits your paycheck, Urbaculture brings together everything you need to grow the best fruits and vegetables that you can.
